Carlos Caceres, Former CEO of Digicel Haiti joins Kirusa Advisory Board

With a multifaceted career for over 12 years in telecommunication companies across Latin America, Africa, and Europe, Carlos is currently serving as the president for Markest, USA. He has also been the executive for numerous operations in companies like Digicel, Pollpar s.a, Millicom, 3M and Diario La Nacion, along with experience in newspaper and radio management.
Carlos was previously CEO, COO and Commercial Director for the Caribbean and Central America for Digicel Group and has been with Digicel Group since April 2014. Prior to joining Digicel, Carlos held senior roles with Millicom (Tigo) in Ghana.
Carlos says, “I am passionate about telecom and associated with it over the last 20 years. As part of Kirusa’s advisory board, I will have the privilege to work with a group of innovative and driven executives. I have been familiar with Kirusa since my stint in Africa, and their effectual growth and influence in the emerging markets is highly commendable. Carlos holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts (B.A) Economics and Political Science from the University of Kansas. An alumnus of Harvard Business School in General Management, he also holds a master’s degree in policy economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA in marketing and director commercial from Universidad Americana.
