Engineering students at Reva University, Bangalore were delighted to experience an interesting, insightful yet fun lecture on Data-Driven IoT Society – Challenges and Chaos by Dr Raja N Moorthy, Managing Director, Kirusa India on Friday, 29th March 2019.

Dr Moorthy covered several topics that helped the engineering students to stay up-to-date with the latest trends in IoT innovations as well as be wary of the implications the new technologies bring along. The lecture illustrated how IoT is the new reality making devices from our day-to-day lives wiser, smarter and more efficient. By showcasing practical examples of various IoT applications across industries, Dr Moorthy captured the purpose and benefits of transforming everyday objects into smarter things. Through the lecture, Dr Moorthy also conveyed to the students how important it is to innovate responsibly and to have a clarity of purpose. With fun quizzes and spot prizes amidst the lecture, the students were happy to bag some great goodies.
